Microsoft Shows SaaS, Launches Exchange Online, SharePoint Online

Microsoft's Stephen Elop joined by customers and partners unveiled Microsoft Exchange Online and SharePoint Online at an event in San Francisco on Nov 17, 2008. These suites are SaaS versions of Microsoft's classic messaging and collaboration suites designed to compete with Google Apps and other cloud computing products.
